The panel will discuss the ethics and morals around marketing to children. It will explore whether the internet and social media has changed the way brands and corporations speak to children. Who gains more from learning/school/child initiatives, the children or the corporations? When is content pure entertainment and when does it become marketing? How much transparency is needed around sponsored or branded content? Should we rely on brands to act responsibly or impose strict regulations?
