Focusing on revenue generation and opportunities in cross-media exploitation, the workshop will offer case-studies of specific projects, and then examine how concepts can be developed with monetisation in mind.

Presented in partnership with the Indie Training Fund

The Indie Training Fund (ITF) facilitates development for indies and freelancers in TV & digital media production by working in partnership with other training providers, as well as Pact, Skillset, the Regional & National Screen Agencies, the BETR, the Children’s Media Conference, the BBC Academy, Channel Four and other broadcasters. The Fund was formerly administered by Pact, with which it still works closely, but it is now a separate charity whose indie members make a major contribution to the Skillset TV Freelance Fund. It has signed up to the Cultural Diversity Network Pledge. ITF also arranges its own regular low-cost day and half-day short courses, especially in business and production aspects of the TV & digital media industry (eg creative development, production, cross-platform, people skills, legal, business and financial). For its member companies it offers its own exclusive in.indie development and consultancy scheme tailored to their individual needs, as well as discounts on its scheduled courses. ITF members include Baby Cow, Diverse, Endemol, Feelgood Fiction, Flashback, Hat Trick, IMG, Leopard, Lion, Oxford Film & TV, RDF, Red, Shine, Steadfast, Talkback Thames, Tern Television, True North & Windfall. Isn’t it time your company joined, got the benefits of membership, and helped to develop the creative production skills of our industry?
