The world of Children’s content is subject to more regulations and policy than any other genre.

This year alone has seen a significant update to the Working Regulations for Children in Performance, which was launched in February, as well as new supporting guidance issued by Ofcom in March with regard to the duty of care in the use of children in productions as both performers and contributors.

Meanwhile, new EU legislation is looming which will have a profound impact on the way we collect and use Children’s data online.

This session will provide knowledge and insight from a range of relevant professionals, giving the view from both the regulatory and production world. It is an absolute must for anyone creating content for children, whether it is via websites, games, short- or long-form media, in broadcast or online.
