The CMC Debate: Limitless Content – Good or Bad?

For the creative industries, “Limitless” has upended development, production, distribution and financial models. It’s opened new options; equally, it’s created new challenges when launching new content. For kids, “Limitless” means access to media that both affirms their existing passions and leads them to new ones; however, it can also breed the “paradox of choice” or lead them down (sometimes inappropriate) rabbit holes that soak up time. Two teams of industry leaders debate how the ability to launch IP more efficiently impacts the art and business of children’s media. Two speak for and two against the proposition. The audience votes at the beginning, to establish their baseline views, and then again at the end to see if any have been swayed by the arguments.
