Playing to Innovate

Play will be used as a cognitive methodology to understand and define new approaches and experiences in a play methodology that will influence strategic decisions in the areas of research, foresight, and insight, inspiration that will lead to innovative solutions. The vision for Play covers a wide range of Industries and Disciplines in this context it is described as “Play is the outcome of manifestations of connections with ourselves, others and or our surroundings to achieve deeper meanings.”

Yesim’s approach is ‘Think like a Preschooler’; question, explore, try, play and re-create meanings, define a new How -Why – Now for innovative applications.

PlaytoInnovate® Methodology has been used to uncover dynamics, relationships, visions and leveraging creative thinking. This session aims to portray the power of thinking playfully and how to be used as a tool.

Being Childish

Through working with thousands of kids all over the world, Ash Perrin (clown name ‘Bash’) knows what an audience of children really enjoys. He connects with children no matter where they come from or what they’ve been through, by thinking as a child does. Expect interactive high energy, silliness and fun to help delegates rediscover their inner child combined with insight from his unique experience on the road. There will no doubt be a lot of noise, delegates will be taken out of their comfort zones and he will lay down some great stories! Central will be the idea that children aren’t stupid they’re just smaller than us.
