Around the world, children’s media creators are “making it happen” under wide-ranging circumstances. Many factors influence their choices of format, genre and content, including mission, budget, and cultural view of children and childhood. The results can be eye-opening.
Every other year, the world comes together at PRIX JEUNESSE International – the global children’s TV festival – to compare how we’re making it happen. PRIX JEUNESSE features nearly 100 programmes from dozens of countries, screened and discussed by 400 executives, producers, writers, directors, academics and others.
While CMC can’t recreate the full festival experience, the “PRIX JEUNESSE Suitcase” is a perpetually popular conference session. Join us for a clip show of outstanding, engaging, intriguing, and astounding finalists from the just-finished 2016 festival.
This session begins with a presentation by Changemaker Rebecca Atkinson, #ToyLikeMe campaigner.
