Tuesday Workshop: Pitch Perfect
Tuesday 4th July 2017, 1:00pm - 5:00pm BST
HUBS The StageRead session report
This interactive workshop, suitable for newcomers to the markets and old hands wanting to hone their skills, will explore market readiness and best-practice pitching, with a host of ‘pitch masters’ from the industry to get you working on your pitching skills.
If you’re new to the CMC and/or the other international markets and festivals throughout the year, then here’s your chance to get familiar with the key events, how they function, who attends, and when exactly in the cycle of development you should be taking your project to market.
Opportunities to pitch in the children’s entertainment business are as numerous as they can be daunting and varied in timing, length and audience. Even to the initiated, pitching can be deceptively difficult and perfecting the art of the pitch requires technique and plenty of practice. You will need to be prepared for any and all eventualities…
To kick off this interactive session, experts in the realm of Publishing, Licensing and Television from both sides of the fence will be giving top tips and guidance on the key events to attend that are appropriate to your project – PLUS their guidelines on the perfect pitch.
Then it will be your turn to pitch your project to the experts, and get invaluable feedback from the grand pitch gurus themselves!
Tuesday Workshops are available to all registered delegates. All workshops run simultaneously, beginning at 1pm on Tuesday afternoon and last 4 hours.
