Michael Acton Smith outlines Mind Candy’s new position as a publisher: “In broad terms our thinking is that we’re now ready as a company to expand beyond our one brand, Moshi Monsters. We have several completely new IPs in development but we are on the look out to acquire, invest in and commission exciting new properties.
Mind Candy will effectively be a publisher and use our skills and distribution infrastructure to launch and nurture the next wave of digital IP. We are very open minded about what the new IP might be, but in general terms we are much more excited about mobile and the web than we are traditional cartoons.”
