Thursday 5th July 2018, 11:10am - 12:10pm BST
Showroom Cinema 3
Read session reportA diverse panel of creators, broadcasters and activists discuss what has been made to bring the so-called ‘taboo’ topics to young people – of all ages. Are they succeeding and what can we learn from them? The panel will also uncover the taboos that still need to be broken and the stumbling blocks along the way. Deciding on the appropriate age group is one of the fundamental questions. As are: Are we doing enough? Are we using the right platforms? Are there still taboo topics that need illumination? Do we have the right skills to stay in the loop as sexual and gender diversity continues to fragment?
