Are you looking to maximise the potential of your IP on YouTube, and build brand impact on social media platforms? Look no further – Get Social at CMC!
Participants in the Get Social workshop will gain valuable insight into what makes a brand successful on social platforms, as well as getting practical hands on experience creating their very own campaign under the guidance of one of our experts. If you have a brand, small or large, this workshop is for you!
Get Social is an in-depth analysis of what it means to take a brand and make it social and your chance to become a social media marketeer.
The Get Social panel of experts, will discuss what it takes to make a brand successful on a social media channel. Looking in particular at YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, we will assess the do’s and don’ts, successful brand messaging stories, how to compose the specific posts and what makes a brand stick on social.
After the theory – the practice. Participants will break into groups and get the chance to create a campaign, under the guidance of one of the experts. With a brand in mind, a camera in the hand and the collective brains of the group at work – you’ll plan a post, create the media, position the brand and tweet, gram or post it, right there and then. And the experts will feed back on the success of the campaigns created.
The panel of experts includes:
- Rebecca Frankel, Head of Distribution and Partners at Little Dot Studios. Little Dot is one of the fastest growing next-generation media companies. Rebecca runs their kids’ business, representing shows such as ‘Peppa Pig’, ‘Octonauts’, ‘Horrid Henry’ and ’Baby Jake’ across YouTube.
- Anna Lewis, Co-founder of branding and marketing agency, Marsden/Mee. Anna has a passion for branding and has also started her own children’s brand of outdoor toys, so she’s seen social branding from both sides.
- Neil Warwick, Channel Manager, Aardman Animations, will discuss how much loved brands like ‘Morph’, ‘Shaun the Sheep’ and ‘Wallace and Gromit’ have found their place on social platforms.
- Harriet Shearsmith is the digital influencer behind Toby & Roo, which has an incredible 120,000 social media followers. Toby & Roo is ranked as the number one parent blog in the UK by Tots 100 and Harriet will be discussing how to utilise social media to grow your business, as well as how to work with brands as an influencer.
Tuesday Workshops are available to all registered delegates. All workshops run simultaneously, beginning at 1pm on Tuesday afternoon and last 4 hours.
