Yosr Saber
Kings College London
Postgraduate Student

My name is Yosr Saber. I am originally from Cairo, Egypt but have been living in London with my husband and two children since January 2014. I graduated from the American University in Cairo back in the year 2000 and worked for over 9 years in advertising both at Ogilvy& Mather and at Leo Burnett in account management. Upon taking a break from work life, when I became a mother, I also felt the need for a career shift. This led to my decision to go back to university, and I am currently in the process of completing my Postgraduate studies at Kings College London in Global Media Industries.
The culmination of the different stages and chapters of my life, whether be it as a student, mother, or media executive, brought me to the realisation that I have always been interested in children’s media, both as a child and as an adult. On that account, I am very excited to join the blogging team for the Children’s Media Conference this year and to have the opportunity to meet, listen, and learn from all the great minds in such an important and crucial industry like this one.
