Westley designed, developed and manufactured stop motion armature kits for educational purposes as well as film and TV production. He has also partnered with Ray Harryhausen to deliver a high end armature solution to market, which he then sourced and negotiated manufacturing contracts in the UK, Germany, India and China. He developed www.animationtoolkit.com to become market leader and preferred supplier for many colleges/universities and studios around the world. He produced and directed the BAFTA nominated ‘Compost Corner’, and he now works as a Producer and Director at CITV Promotions.
Innovation in Tech, Process and Workflow The first panel of the day examines how technology does – and doesn’t – support the work of storytellers. What delights and frustrates the panellists about the technology they use for everyday business and creative tasks – ranging from the specialised like Dragonframe or the Adobe suite – to the consumer tools that we all use like Dropbox, Skype, wikis and YouTube.
