Viola Gabrielli has a multicultural and multilingual background. She is an experienced international consultant specialising in content & talent scouting as well as programming for markets, festivals, worldwide within the children’s media industry.
She provides broadcasters, world sales and creative producers with a bespoke service to find the right business partners. Viola currently works as Head of Programme for Kids Kino Industry – an annual international co-production and pitching event for kids and youth media content & overseeing Kids Kino Lab an international development programme for film and series for young audiences, dedicated to script writers and producers based in Warsaw, Poland.
Besides that she is the animation feature programme delegate for the Shanghai International Film Festival and a member of the international advisory board for the Cinekid Foundation in the Netherlands. She is involved in diverse international jury’s like the Rocky Awards at the Banff World Media Festival in Canada or lately for the Iberoamerican market.
Over the last years in her career Viola has been a co-founder of forward-looking media industry hubs and driving the KIDS Regio lobby initiative focussed on international exchange and network expansion. Previous to that she produced the German Academy for Children’s Media, a writer’s lab for professionals developing children’s film and story worlds and worked for the German Children’s Media Festival GOLDEN SPARROW.
