Victoria Coker

Victoria is a highly experienced content specialist. Her 20 year career spans television, the arts and the charity sector with a particular focus on young audiences.

Most recently she was the Head of Unscripted Development at BBC Children’s, developing television formats for children aged 0 – 12 years old ranging from live action factual to studio entertainment.  Before returning to television, she held a number of senior editorial roles in charities, including Save the Children. She was responsible for leading all aspects of content strategy, planning and editorial operations for all content across website, social media channel, YouTube and print publications.
For five years she ran A Different Drum Productions CIC, a media arts organisation based in Hackney, East London, that delivered participatory arts projects and offered video and photography workshops to children and young people. She previously worked as Development Executive and Producer/Director for various Indies, where she generated ideas for UK and International audiences, with a particular focus on youth audiences.
