Genre Lead, BBC Children’s Animation & Puppetry
In a career spanning over 25 years both as a freelancer and as staff at the BBC, Tony Reed specialises in children’s content production. Tony is a writer, director, executive producer and in his current role as Animation and Puppetry Genre Lead for BBC Children’s Production he manages large-scale projects for domestic and international markets. Tony works closely with co-production partners to develop and produce a variety of multi-episodic fully animated, mixed media or puppet-led series that serve public service and commercial needs for the under 16s.
