Tom left Sheffield University in 2015 with a First Class Honours degree in Theatre and Performance. He was awarded the Dr Maisie Glass prize for outstanding academic achievement within the School of English. During his time there, he volunteered to work with children of varying learning needs in the community and was actively involved in a variety of outreach projects, such as delivering a Theatre In Education programme and a pioneering reading scheme to schools across Sheffield. Since graduating, Tom has created and developed high quality content for BBC Entertainment, Current Affairs and Children’s on a number of flagship shows, such as Blue Peter. Tom has experience of working on live studio, development and location based productions and is currently building gallery directing experience with CBBC Presentation.
