Susie Day writes contemporary fiction about girls for children and young adults. She’s also worked as a primary teacher and nursery nurse, and currently lives in a boarding school with 13 pongy teenage boys.
Her debut novel won the BBC Talent Children’s Fiction Prize. Her books include ‘The Twice-Lived Summer of Bluebell Jones’, ‘My Invisible Boyfriend’ (also published as ‘Girl Meets Cake’), ‘Big Woo’ (Scholastic, 11+/teen), and the ‘Pea’s Book’ series (Random House, 8-12s).
