With over 18 years industry experience Susan has been a licensee, agent and a licensor working with and for some of the biggest names in Character and Brand licensing; from managing in-house pre-school brands at BBC Worldwide to co-ordinating global product roll-outs for brands such as ‘Star Wars’ and ‘The Lord of The Rings’ franchises. Prior to joining Penguin Random House Susan worked for Europe’s largest licensing agency, CPLG, representing some of Hollywood’s biggest studios including Universal, Paramount, CBS Television and DreamWorks Animation. Susan now heads up the Penguin Ventures team at Penguin Random House with a remit to grow the children’s divisions wholly owned brands, including Peter Rabbit and The Snowman, both in the UK and internationally as well as to identify opportunities for new development in the areas of licensing, TV, film and stage.
