Sumita (she/they) is a writer/musician/arts-maker, co-writer of many episodes of CBeebies show ‘Pablo’, and voice actor for ‘Wren’. Sumita is autistic (late-diagnosed); similar to Pablo, their own art-worlds are spaces for processing the external world and internal feelings.
Sumita has been studying an MSc in Creative Arts & Mental Health at Queen Mary University of London, writing about subjects including Performing Inner Worlds, alongside developing as a performer. Sumita hopes to use her own creative processing and mind-management methods to help develop psychoeducational imagination tools for mental wellness in young children/future adults.
Sumita’s multi-sensory thinking-style heightens her ability to access childhood memories in a unique way.
