RTS Journalism Awards
Formerly the CEO and Editor-in-Chief of ITN and the Ofcom Partner for Content and Standards, Stewart Purvis CBE is now a non-executive director of Channel Four, a member of the DCMS Secretary of State’s Advisory Committee on BBC Charter Review and Chairman of the Royal Television Society Journalism Awards.
During his four decades in broadcasting he has won two BAFTA awards and a Gold Medal from the Royal Television Society for an outstanding contribution to television. He is now also an author: ‘Guy Burgess The Spy Who Knew Everyone’, written with Jeff Hulbert, was published this year.
