Stephanie Gauld has over 14 years experience working in children’s digital media. She recently set up a freelance business and is working on projects from start-ups to established production companies. Prior to this she worked at Egmont, as Digital Publisher developing new IP, and at Disney setting up the EMEA virtual worlds team, including launching Club Penguin in Europe. She also set up CBeebies online and ITV at the BBC, building up the content strategy, gaining several Bafta nominations and leading the team for six years.
Children’s play patterns have always involved a mash-up of brands. Toycos such as Lego are also brilliant at layering brands, with their top-selling products supporting other brands.
