Stephanie started her career in publishing at Ladybird, moving on to Penguin where she worked at DK, Frederick Warne and BBC Children’s and was MD of Penguin’s Brands and Licensing before becoming MD of a merged Penguin Children’s division incorporating Puffin. She left Penguin in 2011 and ran a publishing consultancy, working across the museums sector, publishing and children’s media. In 2013 Stephanie joined Macmillan Children’s Books where she is Publisher for the Under 6s division. She serves as a governor at the Arts University, Bournemouth and is a member of the Creative Industries Federation.
