Children and Learners Commissioner
Sioned is responsible for all children’s content on S4C’s pre-school brand Cyw and Children’s Stwnsh. Since joining S4C in 2012, she has commissioned innovative projects like ‘Y Lifft’, the first play along game show for kids in the UK; ‘Madron’ innovative animation and digital comic; ‘Dwylo’r Enfys’ a series introducing Makaton in Welsh; #Fi award-winning documentary strand; and ‘Llond Ceg’ tackles kids’ issues head-on. From 1990-2006 Sioned worked at the BBC producing and directing radio, television and interactive content. As a Senior Producer 2001-6, she led the award-winning multiplatform projects ‘Come Clean’, ‘B*ll*cks’, and pan-Celtic language learning project ‘Colin and Cumberland’. 2006-12 Sioned joined the independent sector and produced, developed and exec produced a host of shows such as CBBC’s ‘Stuck on Sheep Mountain’ and CBeebies’ ‘Alphablocks’.

Commissioner Conversations: International
This ninety-minute session will allow audience members to hear from international children's commissioners from around the world about how they make it happen in their home country and on their home network. Hear diverse opinions starting from your own backyard in Wales and Ireland and expanding outwards to representatives from Europe, North America and South America. Each individual will be asked to examine global trends in the children's media industry and offer insights as to how each network, media landscape, and respective country views them. Representatives from these sessions will be available for 5-minute one-to-one advice meetings. You can arrange to meet them by coming to Registration to book in at the start of each Speed Meeting block. There is no advance booking – it is on a first come, first served basis.
