Sinead Rocks is the Head of BBC Learning. She plays a central role in devising and delivering the BBC’s wider education strategy and leads the department responsible for pan-BBC educational campaigns as well as Bitesize, iWonder and digital, specialist factual content including BBC Food.
She started her career as a journalist at BBC Northern Ireland before joining BBC Children’s to work on the launch of the CBBC channel. She is a former editor of ‘Newsround as well as Executive Producer for BBC Current Affairs Manchester, where she led the team making content for ‘The One Show’, ‘Panorama’, documentaries for BBC Three and ‘Rip Off Britain’.
