Rachel has been in the interactive world for 16 years, starting out at ITV building online community projects, live digital events and digital experiences for TV brands. She joined BBC children’s 12 years ago building a career that specialised in delivering digital experiences for children of all ages. As digital Executive Editor, Rachel is in charge of editorial strategy and the teams running digital content and products across BBC children’s. She is executive editor of the CBBC ‘Buzz’ app and CBeebies products ‘get creative’, ‘playtime island’ and ‘storytime’. Future trends and emerging platforms are also part of her portfolio including the first steps for CBeebies onto the voice platform.
