Graduating from De Montfort University with Joint Honours in Film Studies & Arts Management, Rachael soon went on to become Festival Assistant for the Children’s Film Festival, Showcomotion (where CMC began!).
Rachael then moved on to Programme Coordinator at the Showroom Cinema, where opportunities arose to support further festivals such as DocFest, SHAFF & Celluloid Screams.
She was then soon snapped up by Finger Industries as Production Assistant and through hard work and dedication she quickly developed into the role of Production Manager where she has managed large budget TV Campaigns, contributed to the studio’s success at the Annecy Film Festival with their IP Lila and the Giants and continuously ensures every project is delivered on time, to budget and to brief. Rachael is in her 5th year with the studio and is now a member of the senior Management team. She is still unleashed into the world of the Children’s Media Conference each July; bringing value to both the CMC and to Finger Industries, who are event sponsors. Rachael has gown organically through drive and professionalism since graduating and is a great example of where hard work, strong project management skills and a passion for the arts can take you.
