Phil Williams

Phil Williams, Writer, Researcher and Editor – ACB

Phil Williams is a researcher working on the worlds biggest video ethnographic lab – the 1-3-9 Longitudinal Media Lab that delivers insights on future behaviour and analyses natural behaviour in and out of homes over time.

Phil has been key in constructing detailed analysis of themes that emerge from the research and presented to a range of consortium members that fund the industry-neutral research, His experience as a writer and editor means that Phil is well placed to construct reports on bespoke interests of the lab’s clients. Themes from the latest phase (5) have ranged from children’s interaction with emerging media and technology over time to how children may use furniture and space.

Previously a teacher of English, Phil has taught in Russia, The UEA and the UK. Phil is looking forward to using the CMC to convey the interesting insights from the lab and also to network with fellow writers, researchers and editors.
