Head of Research
Peter Robinson is the Head of Research at specialist youth research agency, Dubit. With over a decade’s research experience Peter is passionate about developing and utilising innovative and immersive research approaches. Previously Peter has spoken on youth obesity, censorship, and media consumption both traditionally and digitally. Youth has been central to Dubit’s work since the company was formed in 2000. Since then agency has worked with the likes of The BBC, Disney, Random House and Turner Broadcasting, providing insight and understanding into the motivations and behaviours of young people.
Dubit is a transmedia agency comprising research, game development and marketing divisions. It has helped clients including the BBC, Disney and Turner Broadcasting extend their IPs online. This covers the entire process from audience research through to strategic advice on business modelling, the production of cutting-edge virtual worlds, and their management. Part pioneering research agency and part innovative games studio, Dubit understands a child’s relationship with digital media. Dubit uses this insight to create engaging digital content, and ensures its clients are in tune with young people’s motivations and behaviours.
Dubit’s work has included the creation of interactive story worlds to complement existing narratives that children love, turning books, comics and toys into interactive adventures. Dubit’s games help brands to entertain and educate, and generate revenues and profit for clients all over the world.
