Paul Nunn (@Nunnone) is Chief Commercial Officer at SuperAwesome, the kids digital engagement platform which reaches a quarter of a billion kids each month. Paul has global responsibility for PopJam, the industry’s leading safe-social content platform for kids as well as heading all initiatives around SuperAwesome’s video product strategy.
An active consultant, Paul is digital advisor to companies including the The Roald Dahl Literary Estate and Halfbrick Studios. Previously Paul was Managing Director of Outfit7 Brit Limited, the family entertainment powerhouse behind the smash hit mobile success Talking Tom & Friends. There he initiated and led their highly successful YouTube strategy, turning the Talking Tom & Friends channels into one of the best-performing family franchises on the platform.
Animation has a healthy history on the internet and in this session we will be talking to a group of talented animators who have made their mark on the internet as well as creatives who have chosen to move from traditional broadcasters to this new viewing platform. We’ll explore whether animation is thriving on the internet, whether the extreme variations in quality affect broader attitudes towards animation and whether the internet is a breeding ground for new animation talent.
