Head of Digital Channels & Acquisitions
Paul Mortimer was promoted to Head of Digital Channels and Acquisitions in 2016, having been ITV’s Controller of Digital Channels for four years.
Paul has overall responsibility for the scheduling, commissioning and acquisition of content for all of ITV’s digital channels – ITV2, ITVBe, ITV3, ITV4 and CITV, as well as for acquired content for ITV main channel. He has lead responsibility for driving CITV channel strategy and signing off programme selection, both acquired and commissioned children’s content, working with the ITV genre teams.
Before joining ITV in 2012, Paul spent five years at Channel 4, becoming the Head of E4 and More4. He has also worked for the Discovery Channel as well as Channel 5 but began his career at the ITV Network Centre in 1994.
