Paul Laikin is the Co-founder and Managing Director of Unanico Group. He currently specialises in international film co-production. Paul is a multilingual, award-winning producer and screenwriter who is co-producing and co-writing Unanico Entertainment’s music-driven animated feature film spin-off from Unanico Studios award-winning stop-motion animated short film ‘One Night in Hell’. Paul speaks French, German, Italian, Dutch, Norwegian and Mandarin Chinese.
Unanico Group is an internationally award-winning independent media company co-founded by Paul Laikin and Jason Jameson. Unanico Studios is dedicated to the creation of original 2D, 3D and CGI animation, with a focus on developing and producing in-house IPs, as well as co-developing and co-producing animated IPs from selected partners.
Unanico Group was responsible for the animation production of BAFTA nominated CBeebies children’s TV series ‘Apple Tree House’. Since 2018, Unanico Group successfully completed sales of two award-wining British animation IPs to high-profile Chinese platforms, including Tencent and Mango TV.
Unanico Group is currently in production on a UK-China co-production animation project commissioned by one of the world’s most influential video streaming companies. This project will be globally distributed at the end of 2019.
