Nicky is a market research consultant specialising in research with children and families, working with clients such as LEGO, HiT Entertainment and Nickelodeon on both ad hoc and on – going research projects. Having worked with LEGO for over 25 years and Nickelodeon for close to 20, she is well placed to understand the ever shifting toy and media landscape. A recent public consultation for the British Board of Film Classification saw her trawling up and down the country conducting focus groups with parents and teenagers and watching over 45 films – (mostly from behind a cushion!). As a researcher, her enthusiasm is unparalleled. As a mother, she is a constant source of embarrassment – always asking questions, observing behavior and even working with her sons’ school on their research and marketing strategy.
