The Birmingham Stage Company

Neal Foster founded The Birmingham Stage Company in 1992 and it has since produced over sixty productions. The company specialises in shows for children and collaborates with the UK’s foremost living writers. Highlights include Kensuke’s Kingdom and Why The Whales Came by Michael Morpurgo, the world premiere of Horrible Science by Nick Arnold, The Firework-maker’s Daughter by Philip Pullman, six world premieres of Terry Deary’s Horrible Histories and David Almond’s Skellig which has just returned from New York. Future productions include the world stage premiere of BBC’s M.I.High
