Marc Goodchild

Marc Goodchild is an award-winning TV Executive turned Digital Product specialist and has been involved in the kids’ media sector on and off for 20 years.

A former Head of Digital for BBC and WarnerMedia, he delivered the first kids’ version of the BBC iPlayer in 2010, oversaw the development of BBC Factual’s first shortform YouTube catalogue and established the BBC F&L’s red-button innovation unit.

From 2011 to 2017 Marc worked as Product Consultant/ Digital Exec for various indie studios including Lion, Jamie Oliver Ltd, Betty as well kids brands like Lego Friends, Dora and Secret Life of Boys.

Marc has co-founded start-ups, one delivering SAAS second-screen playalong services for TV producers and a social tech story-telling platform for grandparents and kids. In 2021, he completed a 5 year tenure at WarnerMedia where he headed up the games, apps, YouTube portfolio for 20 territories across EMEA and oversaw the launch of several regional OTT services.

Marc is currently working with Pact on the launch of Sunflower TV (a non-profit YouTube channel for Ukrainian kids displaced by the war), and with the producers of ‘Moley’.
