Lisa Campbell began her career at Time Out Amsterdam before joining Haymarket Publishing. Over a period of seven years, she worked on a range of business-to-business titles including Marketing and Campaign magazine where she was Craft Editor covering the creative and production side of advertising. She was then promoted to editor, series producer and presenter of Campaign Screen, a print and DVD magazine which featured short films, music videos and commercials from around the world, as well as filmed interviews with the likes of Ridley Scott and Michel Gondry. After a period freelancing for magazines and newspapers such as The Times and The Guardian, she joined the TV industry bible, Broadcast magazine, as deputy editor. She became editor in 2007, overseeing a relaunch of the magazine which has succeeded in growing both subscriptions and revenue, and improving reader engagement. She also relaunched the website, broadcastnow.co.uk., growing the number of monthly hits to 500,000, as well as introducing a range of digital newsletters which now have more than 12,000 subscribers. She is a TV addict and, thanks to her two small boys, is often up at the crack of dawn watching kids’ shows.
