Partner

Kirsty Bell is both a successful film producer and a tax specialist who has spent much of her career at top-ten accountancy firms. This combined expertise has seen her focus on the structuring of film companies and their finance raises since 1996 – a period in which she has raised over £100m for the industry. Among her many credits, Kirsty produced the 2013 feature film Harrigan, a gritty police drama starring Stephen Tompkinson. She was also solely responsible for the private equity raise for the project. After setting up and successfully running her own business consultancy business (Integral Strategies) she joined leading entertainment accountants Nyman Libson Paul in 2013 as Head of Film & Media.
In 18 months she has set up Goldfinch Entertainment investments raising over £22 million with a stable of 83 projects now, and created The Movies Begin a Film Tax Credit loan business. Kirsty’s first-hand knowledge of film production and experience in all aspects of film finance – particularly Tax Credits and Enterprise Investment Scheme structures – make her an invaluable source of advice for both production companies and investors.
