Kim has been a Trade & Investment Adviser with the British Deputy High Commission in Chennai for 21 months covering the Construction, Creative & Media, Education, Water and Fire & Security sectors. Kim works as a deputy to Jayalakshmi Jayaraman the All India Lead for Infrastructure and her scope of assistance covers primarily information on the market, product specific market reports, market analysis, establishing useful business contacts and supporting UK companies to help them access the market potential for their products and services in South India, covering Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Pondicherry.

Within the first few months of joining, Kim has successfully worked on many outward missions. To name a few – The launch of the UK India co-production treaty in 2008, UK-India Sustainable Green Building & Design and Developing water sector partnerships for the creative, construction and water sectors respectively.

Prior to joining the British Deputy High Commission in Chennai, Kim worked a soft-skills facilitator for Norwich Union for 2 years and has many years of experience in the hospitality industry.
