Kay has over 20 years of experience in children’s programming, primarily at the BBC, where she previously she ran CBeebies In House Production and Acquisitions, and also in the independent sector. Recent commissions include Footy Pups, Magic Hands, Our Family, Bing, Clangers, Twirlywoos, Justin’s House, Furchester Hotel, Jamillah and Aladdin, CBeebies Stargazing, the CBeebies Prom, The Tortoise and the Hare ballet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. CBeebies has been named Children’s Channel of the Year three times since 2011. Kay is married with two sons and a proud Arsenal supporter!
