Katie works with Brown Bag Films to support their talented workforce to grow their soft skills and further develop their technical and creative ability. Alongside the UK’s Studio Director Sarah McQuire and Technical Director Erica Lack, Katie is on a mission to tackle the shortage of entry level options in our sector for young people and seek solutions to the talent pool shortage in the UK. Katie has over 25 years of experience working alongside Employers, FE and key stakeholders in talent acquisition and retention in a variety of sectors; she has led on multi-million pound funded training projects with a National Training Provider in addition to working internally in L&D and Project Management affecting change across multiple departments including Sales, Marketing, HR and L&D. Katie also runs Lander Consulting, a specialist workforce consultancy business based in the North West of the UK. Katie has also met with some success as a writer and script editor and continues to work freelance in this respect.
