Kate’s musical career of 25 years includes working as a performer, composer, university lecturer and journalist. Notable highlights have been composing all branding music and songs for 3 series’ of CBeebies’ ‘The Let’s Go Club’, performing original songs with The KoGo Project at London’s 606 club, and writing a feature-length music theory article for renowned music technology magazine Sound on Sound. In 2016 she began creating and producing independent radio series’ for CBeebies Radio, and now manages a radio production company with husband Geoff.
