Senior Investment Manager
Kate has been working as a senior investment manager at Ingenious since 2012. As part of this role, Kate has responsibility for sourcing and executing production and financing deals for the Ingenious’s broadcasting strategies. These deals include a number of animation and mixed media series, including the two new series of ‘Teletubbies’, ‘The Clangers’, ‘Lily’s Driftwood Bay’ and ‘Scream Street’; as well as live action kids series such as ‘Topsy & Tim’ and ‘So Awkward’. Prior to working at Ingenious Kate trained at an accountant at Deloitte and later joined Man Group alternative investment manager.
A primer on animation financing. The panel will discuss financing a pre-school series and an animated half hour, looking at the differing options available and how they fit together. A chance to hear fresh insights from the frontline of funding from key decision makers, financiers, distributors, producers and deal makers all of whom will be available afterwards for one to ones.
