John has 25 years’ experience in sales, coproduction, consumer products, content acquisition and funding. He launched BBC Worldwide’s global Investment & Ops division responsible for all programme acquisitions, and founded their German subsidiary; led HIT Entertainment’s sales team licensing Bob the Builder, Thomas, Barney and Pingu; ran Super RTL’s merchandising division handling e.g. Spongebob Squarepants and Dora; set up IMG’s factual & entertainment division; and created Atlantic Productions’ commercial department to grow their TV, VOD, IMAX and VR business for their David Attenborough 3D productions. His consultancy clients have included Red Kite, Cookie Jar, Nickelodeon, Northwest Vision, and Creative Wales.
