Family Learning Co-ordinator

Joanna van der Meer first worked at the BFI Archive in the 1980’s working on Able Gance’s Napoleon for example, but via a circuitous route which included time as zoo keeper, location catering chef, scenic artist and animation model maker at Film Fair eventually returned to the BFI. She is now the Family Learning Co-ordinator where she devises and delivers film-making activity for all ages at BFI Southbank, throughout the UK and in Europe.
