EVP Business Development
Jo started his career in marketing working for major FMCG companies. After having spent the last years in the toy industry in various roles (going from sales to product development, working with well-known licenses as Pokemon, Winx, Yu-Gi-Oh, Avatar, Totally Spies, etc.), he joined forces with Studio 100 in May 2006. Since then, various activities have started up: a subsidiary have been opened in Germany, an animation cell has been created in France (preparing several new properties for 2008-2009 delivery) and a distribution platform has been set up (to ensure financing and distribution for all projects). In 2008 EM Entertainment was acquired, making Studio 100 the new home for famous animated characters, such as Maja the Bee, Vic the Viking, Heidi, Pipi Longstocking and many more.
Jo believes that Studio 100 has an immense potential and that with the new structure and future alliances in view, the company is geared up to provide integrated overall concepts of high quality and creative family and kid’s entertainment in a highly imaginative, safe and accessible way to families and children all over the world.
