Before becoming an academic Jeanette worked as an industry analyst for CIT Research and HIT Entertainment. Her book publications include Creating Preschool Television (2010), Media in Europe Today (2011, co-editor), European Television Industries (2005 co-editor), Selling Television: British Television in the Global Marketplace (2004) and Changing Channels (1998, editor). She has also written many articles on policy and economic issues affecting children’s media.
