Ingrid Selberg has been both in children’s publishing, first as MD of Reed Children’s Books (aka Egmont) and most recently as MD at Simon & Schuster, as well as working as a senior executive developing and managing IP at entertainment companies such as HIT, Mattel and Gullane. She has a strong track record of identifying and building bestsellers and working with a range of authors and brands from preschool Thomas the Tank Engine, Winnie the Pooh, Bob the Builder and Dora the Explorer to LEGO , Star Wars and Minions as well as bestselling fiction by authors such as Michael Morpurgo, Dork Diaries, Cassandra Clare and YouTubers.
Ingrid works as a consultant, advising IP owners on creative development, brand management and strategic planning. In addition she is also the creator/coauthor of a new teen series ‘Girls Can Vlog!’ ‘Lucy Locket: Online Disaster’ and ‘Amazing Abby: Drama Queen’ published by Macmillan with translation rights sold in 10 languages and TV in development.
