Ian Livingstone is one of the founding fathers of the UK games industry. He co-founded Games Workshop in 1975, launching Dungeons & Dragons in Europe. In 1982 with Steve Jackson, he created the multi-million-selling gamebook series, ‘Fighting Fantasy’.
In 1995 he oversaw the public floatation of Eidos plc where as Chairman, he helped secure the company’s major franchises including Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.
As an active industry supporter and investor, Ian sits on various industry boards, works closely with Government, and in 2011 co-authored the NextGen review urging changes in ICT education.
