Long-time TV commercials Writer/Director, specialising in children, and now creator of a brand-new TV series for children Olly the Little White Van, which has just started airing. Started out as speechwriter/researcher for the Conservative Party, before entering the advertising industry as a copywriter in the late 70s. Switched to account handling, in he 80s, working on blue-chip brands like McVitie’s, McCain, Colman’s and Bass – exclusively on TV. Got first taste of children’s marketing, by winning Europe-wide Hasbro account. Broke away to start own agency, which rose to 52 in the UK rankings in 4 years, before being sold. From late 70s to now, has been responsible for writing/managing/directing over 2,000 TV commercials, shown in over 50 markets around the world. Well known especially in the world of children’s products, toys, games etc. In 2008 Henry went part-time to work on new projects and launched Ideas at Work – from which Olly the Little White Van developed.
