Funded by Wellcome, Heather is exploring youth gambling behavior and its relationship with technological change. She is Deputy Chair of the Advisory Board for Safer Gambling, an independent group which provides advice on policy and practice to the Gambling Commission. Previously, she was a Research Director at NatCen Social Research, leading their programme of work on gambling including the British Gambling Prevalence Survey.
