Disability Rights Campaigner and Co-director
Heather Lacey is a multi-award-winning disability rights campaigner, with lived experience of being a young disabled woman and an academic background in the intersection between literature and disability. She’s worked with a variety of organisations including AccessAble, Scope, BBC, HuffPost and Able Magazine, and has work published in print and online. As a director of Inclusive Minds Collective CIC, Heather aims to inform authors, illustrators and publishers on the importance of authentic inclusion in children’s and YA books.
